We’ve moved!

It's been a very busy week for sociomantic: we just moved to our new office at Münzstraße 19! We love it and we hope you do, too. Office in Progress: Münzstraße 19

In less than a month we’ll be moving into a new work space located near the Hackescher Markt area of Berlin’s Mitte district. We stopped by the other day to check out the progress. Lookin good! Although we’ll certainly miss sharing space with the friendticker crew at our current Chausseestraße office, I’m really excited for the move. The latest: Dylan (Goes) TURF & dmexco review

Here at the labs we pride ourselves on hosting a diversity of talents that go far beyond cutting-edge computing. Many of the more obscure entries in our talent catalogue come to us via Dylan, our front end developer who’s been hosting the awesome Native Javascript Ninjutsu series on our Code Talk channel. Kiteschule Ostsee

Last Friday, several of our team members woke early and packed into a rental van to take the 250km drive north to the Baltic Sea, where we had registered for a day of kiteboarding lessons. For those unfamiliar with the sport, kiteboarding (sometimes simply called “kiting”) is a bit different from it’s parent sport, windsurfing. Instead of surfing along the water with a sail attached to a surfboard, kiteboarding entails being pulled along the water on a wakeboard by a giant kite that flies high in the air.
